Acer Aspire One A150
The Acer Aspire One A150 Notebook utilizes an Intel Atom N2701.6GHz processor with 512MB PC2-5300 DDR2 memory equipped with a Dimm Slot that supports 1GB ram with overall 1.5GB capacity. It also utilizes Intel GM945 Chipset and an integrated Intel 945GME Express graphics card.
What It Offers
It offers dual storage alternatives, 8GB SSD hard drive or 120GB internal HDD. Storage capacity could be increase with the Smart File manager which merges storage from any readable Secure Digital memory card with existing memory. Memory speeds are aligned with the abovementioned chipsets and a 533MHz front side bus. The A150 is engineered to read various memory cards such as Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO and xD-Picture Card.

It also offers dual Operating system, Linpus Linux Lite v1.0.2.E or Windows XP Home with Service Pack 3. The Aspire One offers One mail software suite that allows multi email accounts management plus office accounts with a single interface. The Messenger option enables Instant Messaging through AIM, Google Talk, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Skype, Microsoft Messenger and other compatible Instant Messaging services with integrated web cam for video chats and conferences. Other standard softwares include OpenOffice 2.3, Acer eRecovery Management, Acer Launch Manager, Adobe Acrobat Reader 8, McAfee® Internet Security Suite Trial Version and Microsoft Office Trial 2007, WinDVD 5, Mozila Firefox, Windows Media Player, Windows Movie Maker and Outlook Express 6. Keyboard
The A150 keyboard, takes up about 89% of the overall size of the notebook, includes 4 arrow keys, Fn keys, page up and page down keys and its Synaptics touchpad is placed in between left and right mouse buttons. It is engineered with an 8.9” LCD screen that exploits 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. The LCD screen is protected with Acer’s CrystalBrite gloss coating. It also offers various USB ports which consist of 3 USB 2.0 (one on the left and two on the right), stereo 3.5mm audio out and a microphone jack (right side), VGA, 10/100 Ethernet, SD card slot (left) and a 5-in1 card reader on the right.
