Course Feature

The Forerunner 305’s course feature lets users compete against previous workouts and allows them to compare their pace and heart rate to past performance over the same run. Users can also utilize the Forerunner 305 to train for their next duathlon or triathlon with multi-sport workouts, which is a feature that lets them transition between sports without resetting the unit, so that they can use it for running, biking and more. The Forerunner 305 also allows users to train indoors and still track distance, pace and calories burned with the optional Foot Pod accessory. This wireless sensor attaches to user’s running shoe and transmits distance and pace data to the Forerunner 305 so that it can still be used when GPS reception is unavailable.
