The Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx is a GPS device that measures 2.4″ x 6.1″ x 1.3″ (6.1 x 15.5 x 3.3 cm) with a 1.5″ x 2.2″ (3.8 x 5.6 cm) display size with 320 x 240 pixels resolution. The display on this unit is a 256 level colour TFT display.

The 60CSx weighs 7.5 oz (213 g) with batteries and is powered by 2 AA batteries (not included) provides users up to 18 hours operation time. This unit is waterproof. It has high-sensitivity receiver, serial and USB interface and is available with an RoHS version rating. The Garmin 60CSx also comes with features like basemap, functionality that allows users to add maps, accepts 64 MB microSD™ card (included) and provides up to 1000 waypoints / favorites / locations memory, 50 routes and 10 000 points / 20 saved track log. The Garmin 60CSx also features automatic re-route for turn by turn routing on roads, electronic compass, batomatric altimeter, geocaching-friendly, outdoor GPS games, hunt / fish calendar, sun and moon information, area calculation, and Custom POIs (which gives users the ability to add additional points of interest). The GPSMAP 60CSx comes with one basemap for Americas: Americas Recreational, Europe: Atlantic Recreational, Australia: Pacific Recreational, a 64 MB microSD card, a belt clip, USB cable, MapSource Trip & Waypoint Manager, wrist strap, owner’s manual and a quick start guide. It does not float, nor comes with preloaded maps, built-in memory, is not touch screen sensitive, does not feature tide tables, unit to unit transfer (which normally allows users to share data wirelessly with similar units) and does not support a picture viewer.

The Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx is a 160 x 240 pixels 256 level color TFT display (that measure navigation system that has high-sensitivity and is RoHS compliant. The unit is waterproof and has memory expandability via a 64 MB microSD™ card (included) for up to 1000 storage of waypoints / favourites / locations and 50 routes. It can save up to 10000 points and 20 saved tracks. It has basemap and allows users to add more. The 60CSx comes with a blank 64 megabyte (MB) microSD card that enables users to store extra maps from optional MapSource® mapping software. By connecting the unit to a computer with the USB cable, users can load map data or transfer routes and waypoints. The microSD card slot is located inside the waterproof battery compartment.
