Panasonic has released a new model with the introduction of the solid Lumix DMC-G10 camera where it is almost designed with same specification as its brother, the G2, having the same lens mount along with Micro Four Thirds-standard sensor. It is easy to control with several different buttons assigned as its controls for easy handling. Its SD slot has been relocated from its position near the grip; it is now near the battery compartment.
Panasonic retains its range of direct access controls where its user can find the focus mode options on a small dial, switch-selectable drive mode, the usual suspects model dial like movie, PASM, settings, scene modes, still Intelligent Auto button, mode dial and drive mode options, but without a dedicated movie record button.
The G10 has a notable Bracketing which is able to support up to 7 frames. It is also one of the fastest cameras with 0.7 seconds for taking shoot together with 0.5 focus and shooting time. Besides that, it has accurate exposures and colors but poor in term of noise profile. Look out for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G10 coming your way.

Phone renaming is not that common in this industry unless it was a rumored name before. Motorola has recently gone ahead and renamed their 3D phone from MT820 to MT810. As a matter of fact, some time back Motorola named it MING to which it was changed to MT820. Now after a week or so, Motorola decided on MT810 as the phone’s new model name. Aside from the name-changing, there are not many details around surrounding the MT810.
However, we do know that it will feature TD-SCDMA network and has Wi-Fi. It comes with a 5-megapixel camera that along with taking shots can also shoot 720p videos. The Motorola MT810 is said to feature a resistive touchscreen as soon as it’s flipped open and the flip cover is said to serve as a capacitive touch layer.
Another reason, this phone is making news is because it will be the first phone to feature 3D without the special glasses needed (to usually view 3D). Very exciting news indeed for 3D fans. Until more details are released, stay tune.

The Xacti SH1 video camera from Sanyo is a stylish camera. It comes with 10-megapixel, not forgetting the Full HD video, this camcorder is exciting. This Sanyo camcorder comes with a wriststrap which works great better than the usual wrap around strap featured on most camcorders. Videos filmed on this camcorder turn out to be good with accurate colors and sharp images. The Xacti SH1 works well when filming in low light conditions.
The Xacti SH1 has left and right buttons (well-placed) that helps to switch between photo and video capture modes in between shoots. Also well-placed on the camcorder are the navipad and menu buttons which are located nicely at the back of the camera. We also like how Sanyo hid the HDMI and USB ports by the flip-out LCD. The camcorder comes in a shiny black and silver exterior that definitely makes it look expensive. It is solid thus making the camcorder not that light but it is said to be one of the slimmest flip-out camcorder around. Overall, the Sanyo Xacti SH1 is a wonderful journey waiting to be experienced.

Canon seems to score in the camera area. They have the best DSLR around and competition is always heavy between Nikon and Canon. We have with us the T2i from Canon today. Many would say that the Canon T2i is an easier 7D DSLR with lesser features.
Purchasing this camera, users will receive the packaged DPP program that will help to convert to JPEG for you. The camera comes with single DIGIC IV processor coupled with the 18MP APS-C sensor which by right should take excellent pictures but it’s just a step down from that. With a smaller sensor, the image quality is bound to degrade when higher ISO settings are used. Videos filmed have the same quality as on the 7D. The camera is able to shoot up to ISO 6400, thanks to the High ISO abilities present in the T2i.
The T2i has a nice design, better than the previous models in the Rebel line. Basically, with all these features present on this camera, the Canon T2i will suit all types of photographers. The Canon T2i is available in stores at the price of $970.

Some time back, we announced that RIM is quietly creating a new Blackberry OS; turns out the rumors were true after someone leaked a couple of pictures of the new BlackBerry OS 6.0. The new OS is, of course, multi-touch. From the leaked shots, experts are making out that the new OS might be multi-touch with pinch-to-zoom and other gestures which include the photo viewer and the browser. The new operating system from Blackberry also seems to have fast scrolling and a tap-to-hold context menu.
Renowned tech site, BGR, claims that the home screen button is a little similar to the iPhone’s. Also similar to Apple’s are the music and photo applications such as the photo viewer features a fast-loading set of thumbnails and control layer that can be hidden as soon as the screen is tapped. Also, the audio player features a Cover Flow-like navigator.
It also seems to have the same buttons as found on Blackberry’s Storm2. With the new Blackberry OS, the phone’s user can switch between pages of application icons. Overall, the new multi-touch BlackBerry OS 6.0 seems to be cleaner and better than the previous operating system. Let’s hope it lives up to its expectations when it releases.
