Canon-G12-495x500
Canon has been in the news recently. After having won awards for outstanding performance, the digital imaging brand is back in the news and this time it concerns none other than the rumored PowerShot G12. The latter has been a rumor for a while now and we’ve just had a picture leak of the upcoming camera.

Based on the leaked picture, several assumptions have already been made regarding the device. The PowerShot G12 now has a smaller body which explains the disappearance of the viewfinder. The online community has since been trying to analyze the picture and turns out; a lot of other rumored features are also missing from the camera.

The Canon PowerShot G12 definitely doesn’t have an optical viewfinder. Many are speculating that this might be due to the fact that Canon wants a smaller design for the PowerShot G12. This might also be the cause of the other features’ disappearance. It still has the pop-up flash though. Let’s just hope that Canon made the announcement soon together with the most awaited EOS 60D.
