Apple has been in the news a lot lately. From unveiling its quarter profits to the iPhone 4 antenna problems, Apple is trying its best to please everyone, so to say.

Now the brand wants to further explore the multi-touch technology by introducing its “Magic Trackpad.” The Magic Trackpad is Apple’s aim to bring multi-touch technology to its desktop systems. It is a navigation device that bears similar looks to the trackpads found on the MacBook Pro line of laptops.

Apple will be selling the Magic Trackpad for $69. With the Magic Trackpad, the same gestures can be applied just as the gestures used on the laptops. The Magic Trackpad works on two AA batteries. It can be connected wirelessly to your PC by using Bluetooth.

Among the gestures that can be performed on Apple’s trackpad include adjusting the size by pinching and spreading, rotating and swiping. All of these gestures are said to be supported in the current versions of the Mac OS X. The Apple Magic Trackpad is available to be purchased from Apple Store.
