Are you one of those who are excited in purchasing your new iPad or already one of those who have preordered the device online? We hope you knew about the battery policy before you did so. This is what we are hearing today on the iPad, Apple has said that they will give you an all new iPad when the one that you have dies, as in when the battery can’t be used anymore. Not for free but at a fee of $99 for service and$6.95 for shipping, you will get an all new iPad. Note that the total amount doesn’t include tax. The only downside would be that you will have to give up your iPad and will not be able to use it for a few days, at least until Apple sends you a new one.

Apple has a few rules for those who will return the device. The iPad has to be in good condition and under warranty. It is a known fact that Apple manufactures devices that do not have replaceable batteries that can be found easily. In most cases of other devices, you have the option of paying a certain amount to have your battery replaced. For this one, Apple advises the iPad users to backup their data first before sending the device over to them. What do you think of Apple’s new policy?
