Did HTC advertise HD7 wrong?

This is what we are hearing today; users of the HTC HD7 phone are not happy with their WiFi connection on the phone. If it’s true, what these reports claim, then it’s really disappointing coming from HTC. We remember that before the release or maybe the launch of WP7 phones, the CEO of HTC said that with their phones there wouldn’t be a problem of connection. Of course, then he was referring to Apple’s connection problem on its iPhone 4.
HTC HD7 phone owners from the USA are complaining that HTC has wrongfully lured them into thinking its HD7 phone features really good connection to 802.11n Wi-Fi networks. Users of the phone have been venting their anger out on several forums and sites like T-Mobile by claiming that the WiFi connection their phone is receiving is really disappointing. They say it’s either too slow or not working at all.
Several owners of HTC’s Windows Phone 7 phone, the HD7, have been complaining that they are unable to connect well to a WiFi network. Moreover, if the router is configured for single band usage then it is impossible to get the phone to connect to that particular network. Well, let’s just wait and see what HTC has to say about this.
