Phone renaming is not that common in this industry unless it was a rumored name before. Motorola has recently gone ahead and renamed their 3D phone from MT820 to MT810. As a matter of fact, some time back Motorola named it MING to which it was changed to MT820. Now after a week or so, Motorola decided on MT810 as the phone’s new model name. Aside from the name-changing, there are not many details around surrounding the MT810.

However, we do know that it will feature TD-SCDMA network and has Wi-Fi. It comes with a 5-megapixel camera that along with taking shots can also shoot 720p videos. The Motorola MT810 is said to feature a resistive touchscreen as soon as it’s flipped open and the flip cover is said to serve as a capacitive touch layer.

Another reason, this phone is making news is because it will be the first phone to feature 3D without the special glasses needed (to usually view 3D). Very exciting news indeed for 3D fans. Until more details are released, stay tune.
