Canon has unveiled their latest products, large-format printers. These three printers will form part of their imagePrograf line that focuses more on photographic, proofing, and graphic arts markets. The Canon imagePrograf iPF8300 is a 44-inch printer and it can print out pictures of professional quality. The same goes for the Canon imagePrograf iPF6300 that is a 24-inch model. These printers come with LUCIA EX pigment ink that helps to make the pictures printed last up to 75 years and for black-and-white pictures, it can last for about 200 years.

These printers also have an enhanced color spectrum with 12-color LUCIA EX pigment ink set. This helps to increase the color gamut by almost 20 percent from the previous printers of the imagePrograf iPFx100 series. Together with these printers come a new Photoshop print plug-in and also new media configuration tools. There’s also an 80GB hard disk drive on the printers. These printers from Canon are all compliant with U.S. Energy Star energy-saving standards and RoHS compliance standards. These models will be displayed at the Wedding & Portrait Photographer International (WPPI) Convention, MGM Grand in Las Vegas in March.
