Nikon Coolpix P7000 unveiled

Great news for all those who have been eagerly awaiting this camera, Nikon has finally unveiled it. This is a point-and-shoot camera that has talked about in the last couple of months. It is a 10.1-megapixel CCD sensor (1/1.7”) that comes with 7.1x wide angle optical zoom lens (28-200mm F2.8-5.6). Apparently Nikon has reduced the megapixels in this camera so that it can attain a much better low light performance.

Let’s get right into the features. The Nikon Coolpix P7000 is a 10.1-megapixel point-and-shoot camera. It is able to film 720p (24fps) quality videos. It comes with an optical viewfinder with diopter adjustment dial. It also comes with an ISO level of up to 12,800. The camera comes with a nice look that will surely please those who have wanted a DSLR camera, as it looks like a mini DSLR camera. The Nikon Coolpix P7000 will be released later on this month at an estimated price of $500.
