Panasonic G-Series Firmware Update Tweaks Focusing, Flash

In order to improve the performance of flash (rimshot), Panasonic’s team of engineers have managed to do it by updating a new firmware through its G-Series release especially for those who use the GF1, GH1 or the G1 cameras for shooting video.
The update released by Panasonic improves the autofocus performance together with third-party lenses especially for three of the Four Thirds (and Micro Four Thirds) bodies. With this update, its G-Series like the G1 and GH1 managed to be improved on the modulation accuracy of the flash function, as for the GH1 model comes with the ability to use the AF features at the same time when shooting HD video together with compatible lenses, plus also better performance of its AF features using 45mm ƒ2.8 Leica Four Thirds lens when recording movies. This firmware update is also compatible with the GF1 model.
