Sneak Peek at Asus new Eee PC netbooks
Today we are going to take a look at Asus new netbooks which were recently announced at the recent CeBIT show. Let’s start with the 1201PN. This device is the first Asus netbook to feature the new Nvidia’s ION graphics platform. This netbook also features the Optimus technology which together with Nvidia’s ION graphics platform enables the device to switch automatically between dedicated and discrete graphics.
Speaking on this, Asus claims that this new technology has been implemented in the 1201PN so as to provide a better and higher performance for graphically intensive applications while at the same time, conserving the battery life. Aside from these new features, the netbook comes with a standard 12.1-inch screen that features a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It works on Intel’s single-core 1.66GHz N450 Atom processor. Coming equipped with this netbook is 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive. No word yet when Asus plans to release this new netbook.
