It’s finally official; Sony just announced their new ultra-compact concept cameras with APS-C sensors. These DSLRs will have the new Exmor APS HD MOS sensor which is larger and bigger than the normal Micro Four Thirds system considering the fact that it is a general APS-C sized sensor (24mm x 16mm). Another new exciting feature in the new DSLRs is the ability to shoot 1080P AVCHD video, how exciting!

We also heard that one of these cameras to be released will be the successor of the Sony A700. Aside from the new DSLRs, Sony introduced their ultra-compact interchangeable lens digital cameras. These cameras have the Sony’s alpha formfactor as well as Sony’s rich design. Made with Sony’s rich design characteristics, these cameras will be available in red, blue and silver colors. We have to really say that these designs are as cute as a Sony camera can get not forgetting how stylish they look in their different colors.
