Tamron unveils 70-300mm telephoto lens

This year, Tamron USA will be celebrating the company’s 60th anniversary by releasing a new high-resolution lens for Digital SLR cameras. The new lens are called the SP 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD telephoto zoom lens was first made for the Nikon mount and then later on, Tamron released it for Canon and Sony with compatible mounts. The lens comes with many features. The lens also has an XLD (Extra Low Dispersion) lens element that is made from specialized high-grade glass that is said to have lower dispersive properties than standard LD lenses.
Like we mentioned above, the lens comes with many features and these features will help to ensure quick and accurate focusing. There is the ultrasonic auto-focus drive USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) that will help to achieve faster focusing and there’s also the VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilization that helps the photographer to shoot at a shutter speed that is an extra four stops slower. The SP 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD telephoto zoom lens can be used with traditional film cameras and digital SLRs with full-frame or APS-C size sensors.
