Toshiba has announced that they will be releasing their new Dynabook TX/98MBL laptop first in Japan. This device from Toshiba is said to be the first consumer 3D laptop that will make use of the active shutter 3D technology. Unfortunately for those elsewhere, they will have wait for a while as Toshiba has decided to release this laptop only in Japan, for now.

The Dynabook TX/98MBL laptop comes with a 15.6-inch LCD display with LED backlighting. It also has a Blu-ray Disc drive. It comes with a 640GB hard drive and 4GB of RAM. It works on the Core i7-740QM processor and NVIDIA 3D Vision software. It is powered by GeForce GTS 350M hardware (1GB RAM).

Since this is a 3D laptop, a pair of active shutter glasses is among the accessories that consumers will get when they purchase the laptop. The Toshiba Dynabook TX/98MBL laptop will be released in Japan by the end of July this year.
