Verizon Wireless Debuts 4G Network

Great news for all those who have been waiting for Verizon’s 4G network; it’s finally here. Verizon Wireless has proudly announced the world’s largest expansion; launching its LTE network in 38 metro areas. Verizon Wireless will be launching USB modems as its first 4G devices. Aside from Verizon Wireless, the 4G network is also available from other carriers like Sprint and T-Mobile.
Verizon Wireless is all set to launch its 4G network on December 5. The American carrier will launch the LG VL600 first and then it will launch the Pantech UML290. Both modems are available each for $99.99 with a two-year contract. Set to be available in 38 major metro areas, Verizon Wireless makes the 4G network available in 60 airports coast to coast.
By launching these new USB modems, Verizon Wireless has promised wireless data speeds “up to 10 times faster” than its current offering, the 3G network. Verizon Wireless will release street-level network availability maps on Sunday on its official site.
