No, really what is the Streak? A mini netbook or a phone. We are kind of stuck in between these two. Nevertheless, the Streak from Dell has been released in the UK and the US-release is much awaited. Many say that the Dell Streak bears the same feelings as the HTC HD2 when holding the phone while some would say it’s like a PSP. It’s early to say whether the device can heavily compete with the iPad but based on its features, it certainly can’t. We doubt whether it can be as successful as the iPad is now but let’s see.

Let’s get more into its features. The Dell Streak is probably the biggest smartphone (measuring 10mm case) around with its larger-than-life screen (5-inch). The Gorilla Glass touchscreen is apparently strong enough when taking keys to the face meaning the screen is protective enough. The Streak works on Android’s operating system and 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The phone comes with a 5-megapixel camera that can record videos.
