Android-2.2-Froyo-Build-FRG22D
Finally, Verizon Wireless has unleashed the FRG22D Build of Android 2.2 manual update for the Motorola Droid. Owners of the Motorola Droid have been patiently waiting for a while now for this update. The new update will allow the Motorola Droid owners to have access to several features not present on the prone before.

The manual update of the FRG22D Build of Android 2.2 will allow Motorola Droid users to finally download Adobe Flash 10.1 that is currently available in the Android market. The reason this is called a manual update is because not all Motorola Droid owners will get the Android 2.2 [Froyo] Build FRG22D over the air as Verizon is taking its time in sending it.

The FRG22D Build of Android 2.2 is available to be downloaded manually on the Google Servers. For those who are not willing to wait for Verizon to release the update to their Motorola Droid units can proceed to the Google Servers to download the update manually.

With the Motorola Charm’s release announced, all eyes are now on the next Motorola device. With that in mind, Motorola’s new Android-based phone has been spotted again. This time, based on the picture we came to know that AT&T will be releasing this phone.

Going under the model name Chindi, this MotoBlur smartphone will soon be launched with AT&T soon. Back in June, Motorola announced that they will be soon releasing a phone that looks similar to the one in the picture and the phone would be named FlipOut. Based on the picture as well, it is safe to say the phone carries a 3-megapixel camera.

The Motorola Chindi is a slider phone with its keypad sliding in and out. Many say it’s not a sliding keypad but swivel motion is what the phone has. With this device, experts are predicting Android 2.1 will be its operating system. It will also have seven customizable home screens and live wallpapers. It will have Flash lite support for the Web browser. Stay tuned for more official details.

Sadly these nice antenna reception comparison videos have been removed from Apple’s official site. The comparison videos were put up online after lots of people and experts have been complaining of Apple’s iPhone 4 where there was an apparent issue with the antenna; calls can’t get in or out.

At a recent press conference to address this issue, Apple CEO, Steve Jobs refused to admit directly that there IS a problem with the antenna issue. Instead, he claimed that all phones are like that and that nothing is perfect. His statement angered the online community consisting of reviewers and experts plus the consumers.

There used to be the comparison videos on the site and on YouTube and now they are not there anymore. Going over to the page now, Apple has laid out the information its engineers have gathered regarding the phone’s signal reception. Apple announced that they would be offering free cases to customers to help them with the antenna problem.

Sad news for those who really loved the Google Android phones, it has been reported that both the Nexus One and the G1 is out of stock by provider, T-Mobile.

Apparently, the last batch of T-Mobile G1 is finished with T-Mobile and for those still waiting to purchase it will be disappointed. The G1 was Google’s first attempt to enter the phone’s market with Android. It was launched two years back and sources claim that the G1 is considered an outdated presence in the market.

We all know that technology is evolving so fast that even a three-month old phone will seem outdated to many. As a matter of fact, Google made the decision to discontinue its Nexus One recently. This proves that Google’s attempt to jump into another market was not well taken by both consumers and providers. No word on whether Google will plan to jump back into the market with yet another mobile.
