Sony has most recently unveiled its latest camcorder – a 35mm device under the model, PMW-F3. Sony has earlier claimed that the PMW-F3 Super 35mm camcorder was an affordable model, but the brand ended up disappointing us by not announcing the price for this upcoming device.
The Sony PMW-F3 camcorder comes with a 35mm CMOS sensor and has modes of 1080p at frame rates ranging from 1 up to 60. For those who are interested in this new Sony camcorder have the choice of purchasing only the camcorder or the PL kit as well that will come with 35, 50, and 85mm prime lenses.
Sony’s PMW-F3 camcorder is set to break all the rules in the camcorder market. It forms part of Sony’s latest S-35mm innovation that can deliver high-end performance at an “indie” price (according to Sony). All the camcorders that will be released in this line would be based on a Super 35mm sensor and PL mount technology. They would all represent Sony’s one and only ability to offer filmmakers access to the highest-quality imaging tools and most complete digital production workflows.

Great news for Australians; Seems like y’all at down under have a special spot for Nikon! Though this isn’t exactly news flash, it is a fact that many nations love to use Nikon rather than Canon. This despite the fact that Canon is an award-winning digital imaging company, there are several people who still love Nikon’s DSLRs over Canon’s DSLRs.
True to the T, an upcoming Nikon device will certainly garner more attention than a Canon DSLR. Though leaked shots of DSLRs form another matter altogether, Nikon has more ‘hype’ around its goods than Canon does.
If we are talking about innovation, Canon pretty much eats the cake here. We have to hand it over to the award-winning company to try and make the world a better place with its ideas and innovations when it comes to releasing new types of DSLR cameras, not forgetting the price as well. Currently, Nikon ranks number one in Australia’s highly competitive market.

The camera is designed in a strong magnesium alloy casing with O-ring sealings that helps to prevent dust and water from getting in. It comes with an 11-point autofocus system. The camera uses CompactFlash card. For now, Sigma has yet to announce the release date and price of the SD1 DSLR camera.
