Great news for all eco fans out there; TomTom has just unveiled a new ecoPLUS device. The TomTom ecoPLUS helps users to save in many ways. It can help cut down fuel costs. It can help to reduce carbon footprint. The ecoPLUS supports all types of vehicles and is easily installed.
TomTom has recently launched a new ecoPLUS device that is set to help users reduce their petrol usage as well as reduce carbon footprint. So how does ecoPLUS manage to do all that? Well, ecoPLUS comes with WEBFLEET that helps to obtain data directly from vehicles and transferring the data to fleet managers who, in turn, have the ability to analyze everything needed.
Managing director of TomTom Business Solutions Thomas Schmidt says “For any commercial fleet manager, the twin aims of cutting fuel costs and reducing their carbon footprint are right at the top of the agenda. With ecoPLUS™ we provide an easy solution that works out of the box, on the wide variety of vehicles that today’s commercial fleets consist of.”
The TomTom ecoPLUS forms a part of the WORKsmart™-Eco solution that focuses on helping businesses to optimise vehicle utilization. It also encourages eco-friendly driving behavior. For now, the TomTom ecoPLUS will be available in Europe first at the price of €149/£129. TomTom is set to release the ecoPLUS by the end of this year.

Telenav recently unveiled their new GPS navigator service that includes many new features, never seen before such as One-Touch Speech Recognition, Lane Assist, Red Light Traffic Camera Alerts and Speed Limit Alerts.
Needless to acknowledge here that Telenav is one of the largest global wireless navigation services providers with sufficient subscribers and now Telenav has announced the new TeleNav GPS Navigator 6.0. As mentioned above, the new GPS navigator will have quite a few features that are new and they will also receive turn-by-turn directions to their destination even if they drive out of wireless coverage.
With their new device, Telenav has introduced the single-click speech input which allows the user to press one button and use common phrases such as “Drive to 1130 Kifer Road, Sunnyvale, California,” “Search for Starbucks,” or “Show me a map of Sunnyvale, California.” Other orders such as “Drive home” to launch directions to their home or use a new shortcut option, “Home” in the “Drive To” menu of the application. The new GPS navigator will be launched on 24 March on selected devices.
