
Canon has finally unveiled two new camcorders named XF105 and XF100. These two models are small professional camcorders from Canon. These compact camcorders are more suitable for mobile HD video capture. It boasts of MPEG-2 4:2:2 50 mbps recording.
They come with infrared and stereoscopic 3D shooting capabilities, which will definitely take filming to a whole new level. Not forgetting the DIGIC DV III Image Processor and a Full HD CMOS sensor (1920×1080 resolution) video that they feature.
These camcorders might have almost the same features, but only one of them has support for the HD-SDI output and that’s the Canon XF105. They are able to multiple bit rates and resolutions. They come with dual XLR inputs for external audio sources. There’s also a built-in stereo microphone on the camcorders. Both of these camcorder support 16-bit PCM audio at 48 kHz. The Canon XF105 and XF100 Camcorders will be available early next year. Unfortunately, prices have now been released yet.

Excitement is in the air as Apple finally unveiled its newest iPod, the iPod Touch 4the Generation. The model was a much anticipated one, thanks to the hype building up prior to the press event date. The Apple iPod Touch 4th Generation will be available for $299 (32GB) and $399 (64GB) for the high-end models.
The most interesting feature on the iPod Touch – 4th Generation would be the presence of two cameras. The camera on the back on the player can capture images and film videos of up to 720p quality. Sadly, no flash is present to help with the shots. It works on the same processor as found on the iPhone 4. Not forgetting the integrated gyroscope included for a better gaming control. Of course, it features Wi-Fi 802.11n. There’s the same 3.5-inch LCD (960 x 640 resolution) featured with the much-talked about “retina”, the same as on the iPhone 4.

Good news for all those looking to purchase new cameras or lenses for this coming holiday, Olympus will reportedly be getting ready its DSLRs and lenses to be released for the holidays this year. Olympus will release what it calls the world’s smallest zoom lens, its 600mm zoom lens. The brand will also announce its new DSLR, the 12-megapixel Olympus E-5 DSLR that comes with a new TruePic 5 processor, records 720p video at 30 frames per second and a mic jack.
Olympus will reportedly be releasing the Olympus E-P2, E-5 DSLR before the end of this year. Apparently, Olympus will be announcing these coming devices tomorrow. The M-Zuiko ED 75-300mm f/4.8-6.7 (150-600mm equivalent at 35mm) is also rumored to be releasing. It weighs 15.16 ounces and measures 2.75 inches in diameter and 4.56 inches long. These new lenses will be able to record in HD without making any extraordinary noise. These will be sold for about $900. There will also be the M.Zuiko ED 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 (80-300mm at 35mm) lens which will be available for $300.

Finally, Verizon Wireless has unleashed the FRG22D Build of Android 2.2 manual update for the Motorola Droid. Owners of the Motorola Droid have been patiently waiting for a while now for this update. The new update will allow the Motorola Droid owners to have access to several features not present on the prone before.
The manual update of the FRG22D Build of Android 2.2 will allow Motorola Droid users to finally download Adobe Flash 10.1 that is currently available in the Android market. The reason this is called a manual update is because not all Motorola Droid owners will get the Android 2.2 [Froyo] Build FRG22D over the air as Verizon is taking its time in sending it.
The FRG22D Build of Android 2.2 is available to be downloaded manually on the Google Servers. For those who are not willing to wait for Verizon to release the update to their Motorola Droid units can proceed to the Google Servers to download the update manually.

Small seems to be the new favorite size, with the smallest media player just announced, and now SanDisk launches its new iSSD which is the world’s smallest yet. iSSD comes from SSD, which stands for Solid State Drive. A Solid State Drive can be said to be an internal hard drive. SanDisk unveiled its newest device, iSSD, which is a set of embedded solid state drives (SSD). What’s interesting with these drives is that they are really small, some say as small as a postage stamp.
Though the iSSDs are small, they come with full capabilities. For starters, the drives offer to its users higher capacities and promise a way better performance that one could get from the usual storage solutions. As small as it is, SanDisk reported that these iSSD are designed for mobile computing platforms, as in ultra portable laptops, slim notebooks, or tablets. It is the first flash SSD device that can support the industry standard SATA interface. The SanDisk iSSD features a 160MB/sec sequential read and 100MB/sec sequential write speeds. It will be released in capacities from 4GB to 64GB.

The new Pixma multifunction printers, the PIXMA MG6150 and PIXMA MG815 allows for movie prints to be printed through the printer, but this only works with the supported Canon EOS digital SLR cameras.
The printers feature the Intelligent Touch System that allows the PIXMA MG6150 and PIXMA MG815 to be switched on based on finger touches. Its control panel also uses touch-sensitive buttons. By having this feature, Canon hopes that its users would enjoy using the printers as this feature helps in making the PIXMA MG6150 and PIXMA MG815 function quicker. Canon’s PIXMA MG6150 and PIXMA MG815 are already available in stores now.

Good news for HTC fans, another mobile from the brand has been spotted and this time it’s none other than HTC Desire HD. Those who have seen the device claim that it bears similar features to HTC’s EVO 4G. The Desire HD seems to run on Android 2.2. It features a large 4.3-inch screen. The same screen is featured on the EVO 4G, as everyone knows.
The rumored HTC Desire HD seems to work on a 1GHz Snapdragon Processor. It comes with a 4GB of internal memory. The phone featured in the leaked picture above is said to feature an 8-megapixel camera and HD 720p video recording.
Since this is just a leak, no other information was given out or rather, no official confirmation of the phone was released. Probably, we’ll just have to wait for a while or a couple of weeks to hear officially from HTC. The rumored released date for the HTC Desire HD is in October; let’s just hope more leaks come out by then.

According to the EA, software has been selling really well thanks to PS3. Based on this year’s earnings, the sales of software are up by 14 percent. The increase is mostly because of PS3. Over the years, software sales for PS3 have impressively increased to 40 percent.
Based on the CEO of EA, software sales increased by $1.1 billion which is definitely exciting for EA and this certainly makes a difference as other manufacturers are having a hard time selling their software.
Speaking on this, CEO of EA says, “This is driven by the Sony PlayStation 3 which is up sharply on its attractive price point.” Another source said that this increase is beneficial to EA which acts as the leading third-party publisher of PS3. Officials from EA hope that sales for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 will increase as well and if that is the case, EA will definitely benefit even more.
