They come with infrared and stereoscopic 3D shooting capabilities, which will definitely take filming to a whole new level. Not forgetting the DIGIC DV III Image Processor and a Full HD CMOS sensor (1920×1080 resolution) video that they feature.

These camcorders might have almost the same features, but only one of them has support for the HD-SDI output and that’s the Canon XF105. They are able to multiple bit rates and resolutions. They come with dual XLR inputs for external audio sources. There’s also a built-in stereo microphone on the camcorders. Both of these camcorder support 16-bit PCM audio at 48 kHz. The Canon XF105 and XF100 Camcorders will be available early next year. Unfortunately, prices have now been released yet.

Excitement is in the air as Apple finally unveiled its newest iPod, the iPod Touch 4the Generation. The model was a much anticipated one, thanks to the hype building up prior to the press event date. The Apple iPod Touch 4th Generation will be available for $299 (32GB) and $399 (64GB) for the high-end models.

The most interesting feature on the iPod Touch – 4th Generation would be the presence of two cameras. The camera on the back on the player can capture images and film videos of up to 720p quality. Sadly, no flash is present to help with the shots. It works on the same processor as found on the iPhone 4. Not forgetting the integrated gyroscope included for a better gaming control. Of course, it features Wi-Fi 802.11n. There’s the same 3.5-inch LCD (960 x 640 resolution) featured with the much-talked about “retina”, the same as on the iPhone 4.

Finally, Verizon Wireless has unleashed the FRG22D Build of Android 2.2 manual update for the Motorola Droid. Owners of the Motorola Droid have been patiently waiting for a while now for this update. The new update will allow the Motorola Droid owners to have access to several features not present on the prone before.

The manual update of the FRG22D Build of Android 2.2 will allow Motorola Droid users to finally download Adobe Flash 10.1 that is currently available in the Android market. The reason this is called a manual update is because not all Motorola Droid owners will get the Android 2.2 [Froyo] Build FRG22D over the air as Verizon is taking its time in sending it.

The FRG22D Build of Android 2.2 is available to be downloaded manually on the Google Servers. For those who are not willing to wait for Verizon to release the update to their Motorola Droid units can proceed to the Google Servers to download the update manually.

Small seems to be the new favorite size, with the smallest media player just announced, and now SanDisk launches its new iSSD which is the world’s smallest yet. iSSD comes from SSD, which stands for Solid State Drive. A Solid State Drive can be said to be an internal hard drive. SanDisk unveiled its newest device, iSSD, which is a set of embedded solid state drives (SSD). What’s interesting with these drives is that they are really small, some say as small as a postage stamp.

Though the iSSDs are small, they come with full capabilities. For starters, the drives offer to its users higher capacities and promise a way better performance that one could get from the usual storage solutions. As small as it is, SanDisk reported that these iSSD are designed for mobile computing platforms, as in ultra portable laptops, slim notebooks, or tablets. It is the first flash SSD device that can support the industry standard SATA interface. The SanDisk iSSD features a 160MB/sec sequential read and 100MB/sec sequential write speeds. It will be released in capacities from 4GB to 64GB.

When it comes to media, it’s either Blu-Ray or HD that is doing the rounds. While Blu-Ray seems to be the ultimate format for media players, HD seems to be the favorite format when it comes to cameras. Speaking of HD camcorders, Sanyo recently launched its new PD2BK pocket camera.

Pocket cameras seem to be the trend these days. It used to be just small camcorders that can fit in your pocket. That has evolved to pocket camcorders with High Definition quality, meaning that these camcorders have the ability to record high definition videos. It’s hard to believe that this has been implemented in a small camcorder like this.

Over the past few weeks, several brands have been unveiling their small HD camcorders. From Kodak to Panasonic, pocket camcorders seem to be the trend these days. Let’s talk about this Sanyo pocket camcorder, the PD2BK. This camcorder can film full 1080p at 30fps and can take shots of 10-megapixel. There’s a 3x optical zoom and a 37mm wide-angle lens. The Sanyo VPC-PD2BK will be released in September.

It comes to no surprise that Canon has emerged as the number one brand when it comes to digital imaging. The brand’s marketing value is growing thanks to quality products released by Canon. Speaking of quality products, Canon was recently awarded for its products at a recent electronics’ award function. Canon recently unveiled new Pixma multifunction printers.

The new Pixma multifunction printers, the PIXMA MG6150 and PIXMA MG815 allows for movie prints to be printed through the printer, but this only works with the supported Canon EOS digital SLR cameras.

The printers feature the Intelligent Touch System that allows the PIXMA MG6150 and PIXMA MG815 to be switched on based on finger touches. Its control panel also uses touch-sensitive buttons. By having this feature, Canon hopes that its users would enjoy using the printers as this feature helps in making the PIXMA MG6150 and PIXMA MG815 function quicker. Canon’s PIXMA MG6150 and PIXMA MG815 are already available in stores now.

With the Motorola Charm’s release announced, all eyes are now on the next Motorola device. With that in mind, Motorola’s new Android-based phone has been spotted again. This time, based on the picture we came to know that AT&T will be releasing this phone.

Going under the model name Chindi, this MotoBlur smartphone will soon be launched with AT&T soon. Back in June, Motorola announced that they will be soon releasing a phone that looks similar to the one in the picture and the phone would be named FlipOut. Based on the picture as well, it is safe to say the phone carries a 3-megapixel camera.

The Motorola Chindi is a slider phone with its keypad sliding in and out. Many say it’s not a sliding keypad but swivel motion is what the phone has. With this device, experts are predicting Android 2.1 will be its operating system. It will also have seven customizable home screens and live wallpapers. It will have Flash lite support for the Web browser. Stay tuned for more official details.
