The BlackBerry Torch has been cut in half, literally. RIM’s most recent smartphone that was released by AT&T has had its price cut into half by the mobile network provider. The second-largest U.S. mobile-phone carrier has decided to reduce the price of the BlackBerry Torch in just three months after its release.

We all know what this means; the BlackBerry Torch failed to light up RIM. This is a sad case for RIM, which has wanted to secure its number one spot again in the smartphone’s market. AT&T has reduced the price to $99.99 that customers can get the BlackBerry Torch for with a two-year contract. Initially, it was available for $199.99 when the device first came out in August.

Experts claim that the BlackBerry Torch is available for even lesser prices elsewhere especially on Amazon where the RIM smartphone is being sold for less than 1 cent; unbelievable, but true. So, if you are interested to purchase the BlackBerry Torch at a low cost on contract then now is your chance to do so.

If we compare these two Android smartphones, it seems there are a couple of differences that can be seen such as the earpiece and some space added just below the buttons.

No comment from HTC or Sprint yet as this is just a leaked information. Reports claim that the HTC Knight might just be the CDMA version of the Desire Z. By the looks of the leaked shot of the device, sources assumed that it has a sliding screen and a slide-out keyboard.

engadgetpspphone7-1288145212-300x259
Seems like Playstation might be coming soon in a phone. This does really make a nice and invocative technology to implement Sony’s Playstation in a phone. It’s not exactly implementing, but more or less making the famous Playstation into a phone. Now this is definitely going to rock!

We can already Nintendo trying their version of this technology. Though it may sound too good to have a Playstaition Phone, Engadget (popular tech site) is claiming that it is indeed true and they have tried the phone.

As you can see in the picture above, this is what the Playstation will reportedly look like as a phone. It does all sound too good to be true. The phone looks buggy, which is obvious as it’s not easy to fit a Playstation into a phone and making it look slim. Rumored to be released in 2011, it comes with 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor, 512MB RAM and 1GB ROM. We had rather wait for an official announcement from Sony than talk about the PlayStation phone, so hurry up Sony!
